Photos from Midnight, Texas Episode 2.04

We have another batch of Midnight, Texas photos, but I’m going to warn you, they contain gruesome scenes of violence towards a pregnant woman.

These photos are for Midnight, Texas episode 2.04, “I Put a Spell On You”, airing November 16. Let’s take a look at the official synopsis first:

The Midnighters join forces to protect a newcomer in town. With Bobo still in danger, Fiji’s forced to take desperate action to save him. Patience and Manfred bond over their relationship troubles.

And now on to the photos.

Here we see Manfred, Joe, Fiji, Bobo, Olivia, Lemuel, and Patience in the church. It looks like they’ve discovered a dead body, and a baby. The woman is under a pew, but how did she get there? Was she hiding? Was she taken there and killed? Where did the baby come from?

These are the troubling photos, but they also provide some answers. The dead body found in the church is a woman, a pregnant woman. Lemuel appears to have found her first and either cut the baby from her womb or found the baby already delivered via a very rudimentary C-section. I believe chronologically this set of photos comes first, but based on the first set of photos in the post, I wonder if Lem did this in secret, then waited for someone else to discover the dead woman and baby. Also, is The Rev being set up as her killer? Is this what triggers our glimpse into his backstory?

Fight, fight, fight! I can’t tell if this is some kind of cage match or a real fight between Midnighters and…rednecks?

These photos are kind of random. Bobo appears to be surrendering to someone (or something). Possibly related, Manfred and Patience hide from an unseen person who may be the one responsible for killing the woman in the church. Then we have Lem brooding with a stuffed crow at the pawn shop, and Manfred at a morgue confronting a ghost. Again, random.

Here we see Manfred and Patience “bonding over their relationship problems.” She is constantly hanging off his arm and playing the damsel in distress. I’m not sure I trust her. Doesn’t it seem like Patience’s behavior is an act meant to sway Manfred to her side, whatever that might mean?

“I Put a Spell on You” airs Friday, November 16 at 9/8c on NBC.

I'm a looooong time fan of Charlaine Harris and her novels. In 2008, I launched the first and (what became) largest True Blood fansite at True-Blood.net. When I heard that Midnight, Texas was in development back in January 2016, I immediately started planning a new fansite and eagerly awaited the show's premiere. Welcome!
