PHOTOS from Midnight, Texas Episode 2.05

After a week off for Thanksgiving, we return to Midnight, Texas for an Olivia-centric episode, “Drown the Sadness in Chardonnay.” Let’s see what clues we can glean from the photos NBC released.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and assume that Olivia found out Madonna has been spying on her on behalf of Olivia’s father. And that Olivia is not happy about it.

It’s flashback time! The little girl in these photos is identified in the description as “Young Olivia” and the two adults are “Jean Charity” and “Phillip Charity”. So Olivia is flashing back or somehow re-entering a Christmas when she was 8 or 9, before her father left and her mother turned to pills and alcohol. Remember last week when she reminded Lem/us that her mother pimped her out to pay for her addictions after Phillip left? I think this episode is about to get real emotional, real fast.

Elsewhere, it looks like Kai is collecting specimens of some kind and Manfred finds out. He appears to be showing Joe a sample that he found, which leads to Joe confronting Kai.

Looks like Manfred and Patience are still involved. What do we think about this, Midnighters? Call me Olivia, but I still don’t trust Patience. And I wonder if Manfred feels the same way – is he snooping in her vanity?

This is just a random photo of Fiji and Manfred laughing over a meal (Thanksgiving dinner? That looks like stuffing on Manfred’s plate) and feeding a dog. Who’s dog is that? We also have Olivia in her ugly Christmas sweater bringing a pie to what I figure is the same dinner, then Fiji performing magic. Is she sending Olivia into her Christmas flashback or is it something else?
